Kid’s say the darndest things, don’t they? They notice details parents overlook. I’m sure we have all been wondering “who’s watching our kids” when they are at daycare or school. Additionally, we wonder “who are our kids watching”. I took it for granted they were watching Blippi, a popular YouTuber that attracted quite a following. But, it was a comment from my 6-year old that surprised me “That’s not the real Blippi, it’s the new one” children’s shows get recast, but I had to look close to realize that a new actor was playing the role. Apparently, Steven John the original actor delegated his role to another entertainer Clayton Grimm for the live tour, which in and of itself is deviously funny. Grimm now took over the YouTube show as well because Steven is expecting a child with his fiancée and is focusing on family. If it’s true he earned $75,000,000 as Blippi, then he deserves a chance to retire.
I thought I knew who and what my kids were watching. My kid knew better.
